My name is Hayley and I am an Occupational Therapist and mother of two very busy, active children.
I know the challenges of creating a peaceful and enjoyable bedtime routine for your child, and the stress of finding activities to engage your child whilst aiding their development throughout the day. That’s why I created My Magic Tunnel - a tool designed to turn bedtime into a calming and fun experience for both you and your little one, and provide ideas to engage your child’s mind and body each day.
With My Magic Tunnel, you’re not just getting a toy; you’re gaining an in home therapy tool that helps make bedtime smoother, and days that are more magical, playful and stress-free for the whole family!
How It Works
Start by following the easy instructions provided in the story book (included) to help your child set up their Magic Train and Tunnel. By night, use the book to prompt conversation about where they are going in their dreams and promote connection. After dark, rotate the train and deliver treats, messages, and activity ideas to your child in the carriage. Then await the delight in the morning when your child experiences the magic, and keep their playtime exciting and engaging, with ongoing adventures to support their development throughout the day.
Positive Bedtime Routines
The book promotes children to be in bed and asleep before 8:05 for the magic to work. The book also helps to build a sense of connection, love, and safety to help calm a child’s nervous system and promote better sleep.
Encourages Imaginative Play
My Magic Tunnel is a Magical Toy, which sparks the imagination to think deeper into the world of magic! The imaginative play postcards further develop imagination and lead to children creating their own ideas in play.
Enhances Motor Skills
My Magic Tunnel encourages physical activity whilst playing with the train throughout the day, whilst the fine and gross motor postcard packs are designed to further promote hours of active play throughout the week.
Promotes Social Interaction
The tunnel promotes deeper connection at bedtime and a point of connection in the morning when the child shares their joy with other family members about what the train has delivered.
